FlirtSmart has devised a more fun and easier way to connect like-minded people in your direct surroundings. You can use FlirtSmart when you're in mood to get to know new people. By viewing each profile you can immediately assess whether a person is interesting enough to make contact. Because you are near to each other, it is easy to chat to them directly. You can get into touch with fun people without too much effort. FlirtSmart is a community of people who enjoy meeting other people.

FlirtSmart is a light-hearted way to make contact; you can use the application when alone, and also when with your friends.

Is FlirtSmart also available for Android and Blackberry?
At this moment FlirtSmart is working very hard to develop the application for the Android and Blackberry platform. Please subscribe for the newsletter or check our site on regular bases to check when these apps can be downloaded.

Who can use FlirtSmart?
FlirtSmart is for all men and women that are 18 years or older and who like to meet new people.

How can I start using FlirtSmart?

1. Go to the App store and download the FlirtSmart application for free
2. Create your own user profile and let us know what you find interesting in a flirt
3. You are ready to start Flirting!

How do I create a profile?
If you use the application for the first time, FlirtSmart will ask you to make your own profile when registering. FlirtSmart ask you to fill in your own profile as well as to tell us which type of person you are looking for.

Which information do I have to share on my profile?
FlirtSmart will ask you about your physical characteristics (Color of hair, length, age etc.), your background (Education, living situation etc.) and gives you the opportunity to show something of yourself to other users (Status and a profile picture)

What can I do with the look around option?
In case you decide not to register, you can choose the look around option. You are able to get acquainted of the FlirtSmart functionalities. Unfortunately it is not possible to connect with other FlirtSmart without registering.

Which type of photo can I upload?
You can upload a nice profile picture yourself from your iPhone

How do I find a match?
The user will only see the profiles of other users that are within range of the maximum search range that you determine (0-150km). The match percentage between you and another user will immediately show if you are a great match.

How is the match percentage between two users calculated?
Based on your profile, your preferences and the profile and preferences of other users a match percentage is calculated between users. Important criteria of this match:

1. Appearance (Build, height, hair color, etc.)
2. Background (Education, living situation, etc.)

How do I scan my environment?
Using the radar and the scanner (Augmented reality) function on e can see where the matches are located at that moment

Can other people see my profile when I am offline?
Other users can see that you are not logged in. Users will see your last known location before you logged out.

Can I chat with people who are offline?
You can send a message to a user; this user will only receive the message as soon as he or she will log in.

How do I prevent that people in who I am not interested keep contacting me?
In case you do no longer want to communicate with a specific user you can block his or her profile by pressing one single button. The blocked user will never be able to see your profile again.

How precise is my displayed location?
The displayed location is an approximation of your real location, but will not give your exact location. FlirtSmart has decided to show the users location on a radar and not a map to increase privacy of the users.

What does FlirtSmart do with people that do not behave themselves (Offensive profile picture, harassing other users etc.)?
When inappropriate behaviour of a user is reported, we will immediately start an investigation. Based on the outcome of this investigation we will decide whether to delete this users profile or not.

What does FlirtSmart do with my data?
FlirtSmart understands very well how important it is for our users that all user information\ treated confidentially. In our privacy policy we explain how we treat your information.

Before using the FlirtSmart services ("Service"), please read carefully the following terms and conditions. By using the FlirtSmart Service or accessing the FlirtSmart website, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this agreement. We reserve the right at our discretion to modify this agreement from time to time with or without noticing to you ("Terms and conditions").

This agreement constitutes a contract between you and FlirtSmart BV, a company registered in the Netherlands ("we" or "our"). The terms of use include our privacy policy, which you are required to read. By using the Service you explicitly agree to the terms and conditions including any amendments made by us that are published herein. If you do not agree with this agreement, then please cease using the FlirtSmart Service immediately.

Age requirement
You must be 18 year old to use the FlirtSmart Service. By using the Service you have represented and confirmed to use that you are at least 18 years old.

Code of conduct

1. You will not provide any content that may give rise to the site editor being held civilly or criminally liable, or that may be considered a violation of any local, national or international law, including -- but not limited to -- laws relating to copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets.

Your account is private and should not be used by anyone else. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and you will be responsible for all usage of your user account and/or user name, whether authorized or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your user account, user name or password.

Limitation of liability

Through its mobile application FlirtSmart collects personal information (profile, location and messages) from its users. We will not use or disclose this personal information for purposes other than those described in this policy.
In case we change our policy, we will post this on our website. In case you wish additional information on how we handle your personal information you can contact us. You are advised to consult this Privacy policy regularly for any changes.

Please not the following:

1. You understand that when you use the FlirtSmart services information you post or provide (profile, location and messages) to FlirtSmart may be shared with other users
2. We are very concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information. We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. We cannot ensure the security or privacy you provide through the website or the application and you release us from any liability in connection with the use of such information by other parties

We only use personally identifiable information:

1. To improve our marketing efforts
2. Send account updates, periodic informational updates or marketing messages
3. To resolve disputes and to enforce our code of conduct

We do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third party without your permission.

Safety Policy

You can turn of the FlirtSmart application at any moment. You will than no longer be visible (both location and profile) for any other users.

If you do not want to be contacted by a specific person you can immediately block the user's profile. You will never see this profile again. The blocked user will also not be able to see/contact your profile again.
